Book Bags for Babies

LOGS gives a book and a parenting pamphlet to each baby and toddler when they come to health clinics for immunizations. The community health nurses in Sik-E-Dakh, Anspayaxw, Gitanmaax, Hagwilget, Gitsegukla, Gitwangak, Gitanyow, and Wrinch Memorial Hospital give these packages at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months,12 months, 18 months, and 5 years. Funding comes from money-raising activities, grants, and donations. We appreciate the generosity of various groups and the kindness of the nurses in supporting this program.
